‘DIMMI Multimedia Migrant Diaries of Migrant Stories’ is a project funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), promoted by the ‘Fondazione Archivio Diaristico Nazionale’ (National Diaristic Archive Foundation) and implemented by the association ‘Un Ponte Per…’, together with a network of 47 partner organisations, including the Comitato Tre Ottobre. The project aims to overcome stereotypes and biases linked to the topic of migration by telling and listening to individual stories, which in turn collects and preserves all asylum seeking stories.

‘DIMMI Multimedia Migrant Diaries of Migrant Stories’ also includes another project called ‘DIMMI Stories to Leaf Through’, implemented by the Comitato Tre Ottobre in the Marche and Emilia-Romagna regions. The main purpose of this work is to provide a balanced view of diversity, by promoting meetings and contacts between high-school students and migrants. These meetings are unfiltered, based on self-storytelling and on the ‘Living Library’ Methodology.
