Comitato 3 Ottobre is regularly engaged in efforts to identify the many victims of disasters at sea. In Italy, there are currently thousands of migrants who have died at sea that have yet to be identified. This task is carried out through collaboration with the Labanof Institute.
The forensic Anthropological and Odontological Lab (Labanof) of the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the State University of Milan, led by forensic scientist Cristina Cattaneo, seeks to give a name to the victims of shipwrecks.
